A communication practitioner within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dramani Bashiru Amantana, has formally declared his intention to contest for the position of Savannah Regional Communication Officer.
In a statement addressed to the media, Amantana announced plans to officially declare his candidacy and outline his vision for the role in the coming days, describing the forthcoming declaration as an opportunity to engage stakeholders including the media on matters of public interest.
The statement, which praised media practitioners in the region for their dedication to duty and their role in amplifying community voices, signals the beginning of what is expected to be a competitive race for the communications portfolio within the NDC’s Savannah Regional structure.
Amantana expressed optimism about working alongside media partners to build what he described as “a more informed, united, and progressive Savannah Region,” and called for their continued cooperation as his campaign takes shape.
He is one of the aspirants to signal interest in the position, with the NDC’s internal reorganisation process continuing to generate significant interest across the Savannah Region.
Further details, including his vision statement and campaign activities, are expected to be made public in the coming days.
