The Member of Parliament for Damongo Constituency Hon. Lawyer Samuel Abu Jinapor has procured anti-snake venom for the benefit of all his constituents, as snake bite incidents across villages in the area continue to rise with the onset of the warm season.
The gesture, which residents describe as timely, comes in response to the increasing frequency of snake encounters during this period. While the MP is not anticipating snake bite incidents, the provision of the anti-venom is intended as a precautionary measure to ensure that victims receive prompt treatment in the event of such emergencies.
Residents and community members who experience snake bites are advised to contact the MP’s office in Damongo, where the anti-snake venom will be made available for treatment.
“The MP bought the anti-snake venom for all his constituents. Since we are in the warm season, snake bites in our villages have increased. That is why the MP provided the anti-snake venom even though we are not praying for snake bites but in case it happens, victims can contact the office of the MP in Damongo for the anti-snake venom for treatment.” Kadiri Abdul Rahman, NPP Constituency Secretary, Damongo
