The Daboya Youth Parliament has honored Miss Sandra Ampeah as the Best Midwife/Nurse in North Gonja District, presenting her with a citation, six yards of smock material, and a cash donation.
The presentation took place on Friday 26th June 2026, at the North Gonja District Health Directorate, in the presence of the District Director of Health Services, staff of the Directorate, members of the Daboya Youth Parliament, and other invited guests.

In an address, the Daboya Youth Parliament praised Miss Sandra for her compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to safe motherhood, describing her impact on mothers and families across North Gonja District as remarkable. The group described her as a true example of excellence in public service.
The occasion also doubled as a formal welcome for the new District Director of Health Services and the new Medical Doctor posted to North Gonja District, with the Youth Parliament expressing confidence that their leadership will further strengthen healthcare delivery in the district.

The Daboya Youth Parliament used the event to reaffirm its commitment to partnering with the Health Directorate. The group, which describes itself as non-political, says it remains dedicated to supporting sanitation, camping against abuse, and other health-related social interventions aimed at promoting the wellbeing of communities in the district.
The Youth Parliament once again congratulated Miss Sandra Ampeah, commending her service and dedication to the people of North Gonja District.
