Dr. Abutu Kapori, a prominent development professional and a leading figure in the Savannah Region of Ghana, has added another prestigious professional credential to his name, having successfully graduated as a Chartered Organisational Development Practitioner (CODP) from the Global Academy of Finance and Management (GAFM®).
The certification, awarded following the approval of the GAFM® Board of Standards, recognises Dr. Kapori’s fulfilment of all accredited graduate requirements for board certification under the globally renowned institution.
Dr. Kapori holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Management from the Central University of Nicaragua (UCN), a qualification that underscores his deep academic grounding in organisational and management sciences. His latest certification from GAFM® therefore builds on an already formidable academic and professional foundation.
Beyond academia, Dr. Kapori’s professional footprint spans governance, agriculture, trade, and chieftaincy administration at both regional and national levels. He currently serves as a Governing Board Member of the National Population Council and sits on the Grains Export Permit Committee under the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, where he contributes to shaping critical national policy on agricultural trade.
His career in chieftaincy administration is equally distinguished. Dr. Kapori has served as Registrar of the Savannah Regional House of Chiefs and the Upper East Regional House of Chiefs, and currently holds the position of Registrar of the Western Regional House of Chiefs, a role that places him at the heart of traditional governance in one of Ghana’s most economically significant regions. In addition, he serves as the National Secretary of the Ghana National Association of Farmers and Fishermen (GNAFF), championing the interests of farmers and fisherfolk across the country.
The GAFM® is a distinguished international professional certification body whose standards are ESQ Accredited and ISO 9001 Certified for Quality, as well as ISO 21001 Certified as an Educational Body.
